According to a report today US regulators are considering a plan to dedicate spectrum for a free wireless Internet services for some American in order to increase broadband service nationwide. The FCC provided few details about how it would carry out such a plan and who would qualify, but will make a recommendation under the National Broadband Plan set for release next week.
