Unless you count telling my kid the Wii is “broken” so I can play Kid Icarus for the better part of a weekend, I’m not exactly a hardcore gamer. So I’m not sure what to make of OnLive, a service that charges you $15 a month to access, which doesn’t really seem to include “access,” per se

In a study reported in the Archives of Internal Medicine (that was not sponsored by Bartles & Jaymes or Anheuser-Busch) findings were published that women who “regularly consume moderate amounts of alcohol are less likely to gain weight” than their non-drinking peers, and were at a lower risk of obesity. The study followed nearly 20,000 women aged 39 or over, 60% of whom were light to “regular” drinkers and 40% classed as non-drinkers. At the start of the study, the women fell into the “normal” range of BMI.

P. Diddy was accompanied by a team of perfume sprayers on a recent night out. The rapper amazed revelers at London’s Runway club by having the DJ play a 30-minute set of his songs to signal his arrival and then insisting on having his own Sean John fragrance sprayed into the room every 20 minutes.

The University of California a while back invented recharging roads, a technology that allows vehicles to suck up energy from the ground. Now South Korea has adopted the technology and they are currently testing it at a Seoul amusement park. The technology, known as the Online Electric Vehicle System uses magnetic electrical charging stripes which are underground at four different areas in the parks 2.2km bus route, allows the bus to suck up power as it drives, creating instant power, while storing unused energy in the buses batteries system.
